I will do my best to help my client with honest compassion. I will do no harm intentionally or forget that the client is a person all their own.

I will not discriminate against any individual and respect each person. I will create a welcoming atmosphere for my clients.

I will provide an emotionally and physically safe environment for my client. The emotional state of the client will be validated. The work area will be clean and clutter free.

I will champion the privacy of my client. Boundaries, both emotional and physical, will be respected and private information will remain private.

I will work only within my scope of practice.

I will continue my education on many levels to ensure growingly excellent service to myself and the public.

I will uphold the rules and regulations of my trade, including client rights. In cases of undue rules, I will attempt to change them.

I will demand appropriateness from my clients. I will keep professional boundaries clear for the sake of therapist and client.

I will keep a professional tone in action and words.

I will keep records clear and thorough for both myself and the client.
