I am not really strict on time. Generally, you can be late less than 15 minutes with no problems. If I have a client behind you, time may have to be cut out of your massage to make sure they get in on time (you will be charged for the time you are in your massage, not by any amount of waiting). If you are going to be late by 15 minutes or more a resceduling will probably be needed and the massage can be done at another time. If you call in advance to let me know you are on your way and my day is free, I can easily wait for you. Please be prompt as often as you can.
If I show up and you do not call or do not answer the phone (which has happened a couple of times), that's a big deal to me. Not communicating to me will, generally, keep you from recieving another time slot from me unless there's an awesome explaination.
Cancellations, also, are not a big deal as long as it is done atleast 2 hours before your massage. I prefer (just like most professionals) a nice, 24-hour notice but sometimes YOU don't have a 24-hour notice when things pop up. I'd just rather not have to get in my car unless I have to! Just cancel as soon as your schedule happens to change. I always call clients in advance to remind them and to confirm their appointments so you'll have a chance to cancel then as well.
This is the one unforgivable offense in a therapuetic relationship. I am a happily married, professional woman who did not spend time, money, effort and emotional energy to be someone's prostitute. Inappropriateness will be adressed and you will not get another session. Cut and dry. Please don't waste my time or yours.
Payment is due after services are rendered. Gift certificates from Julie Parker are transferrable and do not expire. Ask about specials and discounts. Some may apply to you!
